42 FLEUR DE LIS MINI TRIAL SERIES, tracks special awards for Second Stride horses. Congratulations to Tanya Demeritt and her Second Stride adopted horse SMOKE N VOTE for winning the overall high point Award for 2013!

Congratulations to Kate Synder and SAFELY SPUN, 2014 T.I.P. Performance Awards - 5th place Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Accredited Organization Adoptee Category (Second Stride, Inc.)

To encourage the retraining of Thoroughbreds into other disciplines upon completion of careers in racing or breeding, The Jockey Club announced the THOROUGHBRED INCENTIVE PROGRAM, offering sponsorship for Thoroughbred-only classes and divisions, high point Thoroughbred awards at open horse shows and competitions, a Thoroughbred of the Year Award and a Young Rider of the Year Award.

THE JOCKEY CLUB'S THOROUGHBRED CONNECT is part of their Interactive RegistrationTM program. The Jockey Club will record and track microchips. Help ensure that your horse is traceable - have them microchipped!

We placed a record 21 horses in the month of December - 122 horses for 2015. Our INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS made it possible for us to place more than a dozen horses in January!

Many Thanks to all our adopters, supporters, volunteers and donors. Plus thanks to the work of the Retired Racehorse Project, in raising awareness of the value of thoroughbreds for any sport, and the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, in raising funds for accredited thoroughbred retirement organizations, we're setting new records for placing retired thoroughbred racehorses in loving new homes with valuable, satisfying and productive second careers!
